Entry requirements
The entry requirements for postgraduate study vary depending on which department, centre or research institute you're applying to.
All applicants need to demonstrate that they meet the minimum entry requirements for course(s) of interest. This includes:
- course competency requirements (usually demonstrated by qualifications you are studying or already hold, and sometimes relevant work experience and/or an admissions test); and
- English language requirements.
It is normal practice for applicants to apply on the basis of final grades they expect to achieve.
Only applicants who receive and accept an offer are required to send us their final grades.
Visiting students
Students who are already enrolled at another university – either in the UK or overseas – should either apply as a visiting student.
