Most states require all applicants to complete a Certified Basic Firearms Safety Course in order to qualify for the LTC.
You will be required to submit a certificate (like the one below) of your completed course along with your application for a license.
Many towns and states require shooting a real firearm as a training requirement. We won’t certify our students without live fire training. You wouldn’t get your driver's license without getting behind the wheel of a car. Don't trust courses that will certify you without training hands on.
